Beat the New Year rush…

Assuming you don’t work on Christmas Eve, we only have nine working days until Christmas. With the party season in full swing, it may seem that is a time to put your job hunt on hold until January, in amongst the other 25 New Year’s resolutions!

However, I do think this period is an absolutely excellent time to be proactive, people aren’t generally as busy in the day, the mood in the office is more relaxed, and people’s thoughts are turning to the festive break. So what better time to get on the phone, or drop that contact an email, and suggest meeting up for a quick coffee in the day, or a drink after work?

As a candidate, you will be one of thousands sending in your CVs to recruitment firms in January, so do get in touch in December and arrange to meet when people have more time in their diaries. You have more chance of being front of mind when our clients ask us to recruit someone for your perfect job!
